SiteScape Forum Help

Using this Help System

This Help system provides you with the steps needed to perform the most common tasks using SiteScape Forum. Each type of forum has its own set of Help pages: Summit, Docshare, Tracker, Calendar, Newspaper, and so forth. Also, if you have summit-level administrative privileges, you may access the administration and Toolkit Help systems.

Help pages may include sections at the bottom that provide you with additional information. The "How do you..." section provides information on related tasks, and the "More information on..." section provides additional background information.

Each Help header provides one or more links to the pages you previously viewed. Consider the following example:

Using the Advanced Search Form

The path to the "Using the Advanced Search Form" page includes three previous pages. You can either use your browser's Back button to move back to previous pages, or you can click on one of the three links in the Help header to move back. So, in the previous example, to return to the "More Getting Started" Help page, click on that link. (Forum places links to previously viewed pages in the footer, as well. Use links in the location you find most convenient.)

Forum always provides you with a link to the Help systems "home" (or "first") page. For this Help system, the first page is the "SiteScape Forum Help" page.

If you would like to view a table of contents for the entire Help system, click on the "Show topics" button, as follows:

Forum displays the Help table of contents in a newly created left frame. To remove the table-of-contents frame, click on the "Hide topics" button, as follows:

To search for words and phrases in the Help system, click on the Search button, as follows:
